As a President of the student council at Austin Peace Academy we kicked off the year with our fall bake sale to raise funds for our events! Many kids came to purchase these home-baked goods and the theme of this bake sale was related to fall! Elementary, middle school and high school students came to purchase goods, and we profited around $700! This gave me the opportunity for the first time in taking a lead role in helping the student body and raising a voice for them. Hitting the beginning of this year off with a success.
